If I was a goat I would eat this up!!!

Oh, I am in hog heaven! I picked up my "Look Book" yesterday that was made by Kim (a fellow artist selling at Calypso Twist, a gallery in Walnut Creek), and I am still speechless. This thing is so gorgeous that I can't stop looking at it. I want to eat it; it just looks like candy! Every detail is incredible, from the colors to the ribbons, to the placement of every little doo-dad... I love it! I wanted to share it with all of you. It's marked with wholesale pricing for the ACRE show, and I can switch out the pictures and prices...how cool is that?!
I've also got some pictures of my brochure that I have to show off.
I've had a productive day at the torch today. Starting to panic a bit about when in the world I'm going to string all of these beads that I'm making, but I keep reminding myself that I always find a way to get it all done. I always have, and I'm sure I will this time.
Going for a quick walk in this gorgeous afternoon sun, and then back to the torch!

ACRE Las Vegas, here I come!

I'm starting to feel like things are coming together for the ACRE show. I just picked up my brochures and new banner, and I am very pleased with the outcome. I designed them both all by myself on Photoshop, and I was a little nervous to see the end result, but I am so impressed with my skills. My brochure looks very professional!

I am headed to pick up my Look Book this afternoon from a fellow artist Kim, and I hear it's spectacular. I'll post some pics later this afternoon of everything.

In the meantime, here's one more pic of some of the PMC pieces that I made last weekend. I'm going to make a necklace with these chain links and the pendant that I posted yesterday to wear at ACRE. I am so anxious to get working on it, but I am trying to get my samples made first. Ah, isn't self-discipline hard?! Off to the torch....

Fun things, fun times!

We've returned from Tucson and I got a chance to upload some of the pictures that I took over the weekend. We had such a great time with Tony and Lisa, and I am ecstatic about the things that I learned. PMC is an incredible medium to work with. I can't wait to have some time to play with the ideas that are bouncing around my head. But I have to get ready for the ACRE wholesale show next week, so I have to make beads "like it's my job" between now and then. I'll play with PMC as soon as I return.
This picture is of a PMC and resin pendant that I made that I love, love, love!
Stay tuned for more pics...

Link to old journal pages

For those of you who want to get back to my old Journal page, here's a link: http://www.divaliglassjewelry.com/journal.htm ... of that's not gone, I will just be using this page from now on to do all of my updates.

Fun in Tucson

It's the beginning of a gorgeous weekend. I'm in Tucson, hanging out with Lisa and Tony Blackwell of Zoa Art (http://www.zoaart.com). We are having a blast playing with PMC, planning for Burning Man, and enjoying the warm sunshine.
I am getting used to this new blog, and I think I like it. I hope to have some pictures to post in the next day or so.
Until then, have a great weekend!

New Blog!

It's been a long time coming, but I finally had some time to set up a new blog. I hope that this will make it easier for me to post updates, and allow you, my readers, to make comments and send me messages as well. I'm looking forward to this new format and am excited to share some new ideas here real soon.
Have a great weekend!
xoxoxo,
Carter
